Beautiful Zagreb

Day 1 : ZAGREB
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, meet your tour director, transfer to Hotel. Room allocation. Nice walk to centre of town. Today's highlights will be the fortified Upper Town, the city`s historical center, St Mark's church with its multicoloured roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theater and University. Free time. Back to hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 2 : ZAGREB (Croatian Castles)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. A full-day excursion takes you to Hrvatsko Zagorje. It is a region famous for its well-preserved castles and spas with thermal and mineral waters. We’ll visit the Oršić Castle in Gornja Stubica and the Peasants’ Revolt Museum. Next, we’ll visit the Ethno Village of Kumrovec where we’ll learn about the old crafts and visit the birth place of President Tito. Lunch. Trakošćan, the best-preserved Croatian castle dating back to the 13th century with a wonderful park and artificial lake, is also part of our itinerary.Late afternoon we return to Zagreb for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : ZAGREB - PLITVICE LAKES – OPATIJA
After breakfast we depart Zagreb and drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Listed on UNESCO's list of World Natural Heritage. Sixteen different leveled lakes, joined with a series of cascading waterfalls, surrounded by dense woods, Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of a rare and unique beauty. Lunch. Drive to Opatija. Overnight.

Day 4: OPATIJA – ZAGREB
Breakfast in hotel. Short bus drive to Rijeka. Rijeka is the administrative and cultural centre of the Primorje-Gorski kotar County and the third largest city in Croatia with regard to the number of inhabitants. The city is situated along the course of Rječina River and nearby numerous streams. It lies on abundant sources and confluences. Like numerous cities in the world, Rijeka carries the symbol of water in its name. Free time for shopping. Lunch. Back to Zagreb. Dinner in hotel. Overnight.

Day 5: ZAGREB
Breakfast in hotel. Drive to Zagreb airport. Departure to home.
